The Justice Department estimates 60 percent of perpetrators are known to the child but are not family members but rather family friends, babysitters, child care providers and others, and 30 percent of child victims are abused by family members.Nearly a quarter of the abusers are under the age of 18, the department estimates.This training will also provide tips for establishing a welcoming environment and inclusive services for members of the LGBTQ community.The Workforce Equity Training will provide participants with a foundation of key concepts and tools to integrate into their daily work in order to move towards an equitable workplace.The purpose of this workshop will be to review types of adverse actions related to an individual’s arrest record and conviction record in employment.This training will discuss employer/employee/applicant rights and responsibilities, as well as best practices for employers.The purpose of this workshop will be to review types of adverse actions related to an individual’s national origin and/or ancestry which can constitute discrimination.The purpose of this workshop will be to review types of adverse actions related to an individual’s race which can constitute discrimination.
